WHO’S GONNA CLEAN THAT UP?

Play

Today’s theme song is It’s Not Unusual by Tom Jones..thanks to listener Stacey Weld for the suggestion and special thanks to
Donny for his accompaniment.  After we hit a little Podcast 101 we give a shout out to our friends at Gamefly.

Catching up with B&J’s playtime at Phineas and Ferb recording with Swampy and the gang and we hear what Brian thought about the 2 movies he just saw Lincoln and Skyfall.

We discuss who we’d like (if anyone) to rewrite the National Anthem, but they have to be born in the USA … and alive.   Donny plays an unpublished and never before released Hoyt Axton song about America!

Carrie Fisher will reprise her role in the new Star Wars film.  The big question now is will she wear the gold bikini.

Caller Jeff has a cool techie solution to help Jill on the  Will Jill Know It segment. But we decide it’s cheating.

It’s National Dentist Day! In honor of, we beg Brian to show us his famous Million Dollar Smile, decides to share with us his $25,000 smile. Sparkly, but we really want to see the full $1,000,000 smile! After much hounding, Brian agrees… with tragic results.

What’s News? Taylor Swift writing new song about how she hates Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, Dennis Rodman then diplomat and Carly Rae Jepson gives the Boy Scouts the bird.  Listener Dan calls in with a thank you for Jill’s recommendation for the “You Book” and we ask him to have his girlfriend call back a read a little from the sexy book he made for her. Then we play THE GAME with Laurie from Sacramento and Michelle from North Hollywood.

Hey all – that re-write of the National Anthem was amazing. I agree with you, Jill, got lost for a few minutes— it was great — thanks for sharing!

    Cheers!

I used to love Top Gear then I got to do a stand by while they filmed here. I have done other stand by’s form movies and other TV shows before but when they put this one on the air I haven’t been able to watch the show again. It was the BBC version of Top Gear.

I learned about Roy G Biv in art class in junior high school. So I thought it was a great question, Tyler’s questions rock :)

The Bohemian Rhapsody was incredible, but Oh. My. God. you HAVE to check out the Abbey Road split screen! He plays an entire orchestra! And the video editing is ridiculous!

I honestly think this guy has to be the world’s most talented human.

(Oh, and for who could write a new national anthem- I can’t believe nobody said Billy Joel!)

Thanks to the entire crew for all you do. And to Kathee- healing thoughts and hugs, I’m so sorry for your loss.

While listening to the “Million Dollar Smile” did anyone else flashback to Mark & Brian’s Old Yeller sketch.

You were talking about the National Anthem rewrites but check out the rendition by Marvin Gaye at one of the All Star Basketball games back in the 80′s. You have to listen to the whole thing cause it’s soooo groovy…..and so Marvin Gaye… I love it!!! It’s the baby makin version.

Thanks for everything you two are doing! I listen to half of the show on my morning commute and the other half driving home at night.

That being said, I was so happy to see the “live stream” link yesterday. Just another way to catch my favorite group of people every day!

    Have a fantastic day!!

Not sure if it’s my computer, but when listening, I only get about 20-30 minutes worth of show?

It seems like it skips over some stuff in the middle? I didn’t hear about National Dentist Day or What’s News.

Before I knew it, the game was on?
