Out theme song today is Kool and the Gang “Get Down on It,” which is inspired by our listener guests today, David Hartley and his fiance Dawna Dorcas. They were our Amazon contest winner with the pogo sex machine. They brought us some cinnamon rolls, which Jill called “stupid good.” You know cuz we can’t stop eating them and nobody wants to get fat. There goes that resolution. David and Dawna have decided to donate the Amazon gift card to the Wounded Warriors project. What a stand up guy!
Brian thinks he is not photogenic (untrue), but Kathee’s photoshop skills might be able to solve his problem. Then Jill reads us a list of things that every man should own, and we hear about Donny’s collection of Taco mini-bikes (www.steenstacominibikes.com).
Todd Donoho calls in to talk about the Super Bowl and the Touch Football Championship (Pro Bowl). We also go into why next year’s Super Bowl might be a bit colder than usual, whether football will still be fun to watch if they take out all the hard hits, and why Joe Flacco is the most underrated quarterback in the league. And Madden has simulated the game and declared a winner, which got us thinking, maybe we should put together a scientific prediction of our own. Spoiler alert! It’s probably going to involve puppies, bunnies or frogs.
Brian and Canadian Bob hit a dive bar last week and we find out how much alcohol can keep a Canadian from playing hockey. And did you know that men turn down sex more often than women do? Debatable! Brian goes over the top 5 excuses men use to keep their ladies at bay. Plus, it is revealed that someone or someones have fallen asleep right in the middle of sexual activity. Bad form ladies!
EXCLUSIVE: Don’t ask how we got it, but we have a transcript of a texting conversation between the two Super Bowl/Bro coaches, Jim and John Harbaugh. Pretty salacious stuff here #Salaciousstuffhere.
What’s News? Louie Anderson is too fat to float, Drunk guy makes it with snowman and still gets blue balls and how to keep your parents away from your parent teacher conference that involves just a little bit of kidnapping.
We play everyone’s favorite game NO APPARENT REASON with Ed from Honolulu and Jerry from Burbank AND our two in studio listeners David and Donna.

OMG Jill! I cannot you believe you told Kathee what happened on episode 4 on downton abbey!!! oh well, at least she can go prepared into it. I actually think I would have preferred some warning…
Red is positive. So remember RED is HOT.
Thank you again for inviting us to the show. Dawna and I had an amazing experience! We absolutely loved meeting everyone and hope to be able to share time with each of you again, even Tyler.
I typed up our cinnamon roll recipe for you to share. Later today I’ll throw some questions together for The Game. Next time I’ll have Dawna make up her homemade pizza.
David and Dawna’s “Stupid Good” Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients
Bread dough
2 packages active dry yeast
½ cup warm water
1 ½ cups milk
¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon salt
5 cups all-purpose flour
Roll filling and glaze
2/3 cup butter
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar (light brown sugar is preferred)
½ cup granulated sugar
4 teaspoons cinnamon
½ cup raisins
2 tablespoons butter
3 cups confectioners’ sugar
6 tablespoons milk
To make bread dough
Sprinkle the yeast over warm water in a large mixing bowl; let stand 10 minutes. Meanwhile, heat milk and 1/4 cup butter, cut up, in saucepan until lukewarm. Add to yeast mixture with sugar and salt. Beat in 3 cups flour at low speed. Gradually stir in enough remaining flour until dough comes away from side of the bowl.
Knead dough on floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 8 – 10 minutes, adding only enough flour to keep dough from sticking to surface. (When poked with finger, dough should spring back) Place in greased bowl. Cover and let rise I warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour. Dough is done when it does not spring back when poked.
To assemble cinnamon rolls
Melt 2/3 cup butter and combine with brown sugar. Spread evenly in 13×9 inch baking pan. Combine ½ cup granulated sugar and 4 teaspoons cinnamon. Roll bread dough into 15×10 inch rectangle. Brush with 2 tablespoons melted butter then sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar then top with raisins. Roll dough up tightly from wide side and pinch the seams to seal. With a sharp knife, cut into 15 1-inch slices. Place cut-side down in prepared baking pan. Cover and let rise for additional 25 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake rolls for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Take out of oven and immediately invert onto jelly-roll pan and let cool for 10 minutes. While cooling, mix confectioners’ sugar and milk until smooth to make glaze. Invert rolls again and top with glaze.
